Legal review draft

Refund and cancellation policy

The proposed no-voluntary-refunds policy, cancellation process and payment-dispute process. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected; legal review is pending.

Draft — operator approval and Indian legal review required.

Prepared 20 October 2026. Effective date: not approved. Operator: Parth Khandelwal. Address: awaiting confirmation. Privacy/grievance contact: support@niwaskhata.com. These pages are excluded from the search index while unapproved.

1. Policy status

This is a commercial-policy draft reflecting the operator’s choice not to offer voluntary refunds. The application is configured for ₹299/month or ₹2,999/year and a two-month new-business trial; live gateway setup still needs verification. Legal review, any required processing commitments and the policy effective date remain pending. Paid checkout should not be activated before the policy and disclosures are finalized.

2. No voluntary refunds

No voluntary refunds are offered for subscription payments, including change of mind, non-use or unused billing periods. This does not limit refunds, payment corrections or other remedies required by applicable law.

Cancelling a subscription or requesting account deletion does not create a voluntary refund entitlement. No voluntary prorated refund is offered for an unused part of a billing period. Mandatory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

3. During the trial

Registration collects no card and the current trial flow does not automatically debit the account. When the trial ends, the existing controls preserve viewing and require active access for changes. A request to delete an account is reviewed separately; it does not itself erase records or cancel an independently existing mandate.

4. Cancelling renewal

When a gateway subscription exists, its owner can use Billing & Subscription in the authenticated workspace to request cancellation and refresh the gateway status. The implementation retains verified paid-through access rather than deleting it solely because a cancellation is recorded.

The operator must confirm the final commercial cancellation conditions and notices. Verify the provider’s actual status; a click or a support ticket alone is not proof that every recurring payment instruction was cancelled.

5. Payment disputes and legally required remedies

For a payment dispute or a remedy required by law, email support@niwaskhata.com or use the activated contact form with a subject such as Subscription payment review. Include the registered account email, provider payment reference, payment date and a brief explanation. Do not include card numbers, bank credentials or passwords.

Duplicate or incorrect charges, unauthorized payments and service-related disputes will be reviewed against the actual facts, gateway records and applicable law. The no-voluntary-refunds policy does not remove mandatory rights or justify keeping money that must legally be returned or corrected.

6. Gateway processing

A verified gateway refund event can affect subscription coverage in the implementation. Approval, bank settlement and the customer’s receipt of money are separate stages. No unverified bank/gateway settlement timeline is promised. This draft does not change the gateway’s refund or dispute controls.

7. Required before approval

Confirm the public correspondence address, renewal/cancellation notice rules, invoicing, any legally required processing commitments and policy effective date. The no-voluntary-refunds position requires legal review before publication as an approved policy or acceptance of paid subscriptions. The operator and support channel are identified above.
